This module will provide the user the facility to view the current comprehensive status of their portfolio. The user will have the option to trade in the stocks available in his portfolio from this comprehensive view.
In case of KSE the user will also have the option of participating in the Trading Game, where he can buy/sell a limited number of stocks in which the user is not actually trading but the same is simulated by the system.
Real Portfolio
The real portfolio is available to the Customers only and provides the current snapshot of the stocks available in the customer’s trading account. The snapshot contains the change during the day for the individual stocks and their total gain or loss based on the market value and purchase price of the stock.
The user can directly buy or sell his stocks from the view of the Real portfolio.
Virtual Portfolio
is provided to the Registered user on the Alawsat KSE site. They will maintain this portfolio, to pit their skills against other investors in a trading game simulated by the Alawsat.com.
This game will be announced by KMEFIC on a certain date and for a certain period. On the date announced, a cash balance (virtual cash balance), up to a specific amount will be provided to all registered member. This game will be played on a continuous basis and hence for subsequent games the amount and stocks will be reset to the specified amount on the game initiation dates.
The names of the winners for the most recent Trading game played will be displayed on the site. A list of Registered members (10) who are leading in the current Trading game will also be displayed on the site.
A link will be provided to the users to view the current portfolio of the leading participants.
Buy/Sell Stock
The user will be able to buy or sell stocks based on the KSE Regular market rules.
