Alerts

Price Target Alert
The Customer & Registered Members can define the Symbol and Target price for monitoring. The KMEFIC system would identify the Up or Down direction of the price target alert based on current price during setting of the alert. Once an alert is generated, the alert setting will be deleted from the User's alert table. The user can set a maximum of 10 price target alerts.

News Alert
The Customer & Registered Members can define the Symbol of the company, for which he wants to receive the News alert. The system would generate an alert as soon as any news is received for the symbol. The message will have a link embedded in it, which when clicked takes a user to the News section on the site. The user can set up to 10 News alerts. This alert will remain in the user's alerts table until the user explicitly deletes the alert setting.

Account Opening Alert
This alert is sent to the Customer at the time of account opening, post verification, to intimate his account number and a link to the instructions that he should further follow.

Account Not Funded Alert
This alert is sent to the Customers if the account is not funded with cash or a stock deposit within 2 months after the account was opened.

Corporate Actions
This alert is only for Customers. KMEFIC staff would enter corporate events data and the system would generate the alert message during processing. Following will be the event types for generation of corporate actions alerts:

Security
This alert is only for Customers. This alert is designed to make the customer aware of someone trying to access his account fraudulently. This alert is generated if a user or someone else attempts to login or trade with a wrong (logon or trading) password thrice consecutively.

Message Broadcast
This alert is only for Customers. KMEFIC staff can enter information, which is then sent across to all, or a subset of the customers.

Civil Id expiration Alert
Based on the Civil Id expiration date provided by the investor in the account application form, an alert will be sent to him one month prior to the expiration of his Civil Id.

Closing Price Alert
This alert is for the Customers only and only through SMS. There will no web/email alert for it. The Customers will receive the closing price of all the Ticker symbols, that they have entered in their Quotes Watch List. This alert will be generated after the close of the stock markets.
