Account Alerts
These alerts are for the customers only. Through these alerts the customers can monitor the transaction activities happening within his account.
Trade Confirmation
The Customer would receive a confirmation message for each executed trade (Buy or Sell).
Order cancelled by System
This alert is generated if the KMEFIC system cancels an order due to a corporate action or the expiry of GTC/GTD orders.
Forward maturity
These alerts will be generated 7 days and again 1 day before the maturity date of a forward buy contract owned by the Customer. The alert will contain minimum details of the forward contract and a link will be provided, clicking on which will lead the Customer to the complete details of the deal on the open forward contract table in the Trading section, after putting in their Username and Password.
Forward margin payment call
This alert will be generated if the closing price in the regular stocks market falls below the termination price of a forward contract.
The alert will again be generated for all the affected customers, if the closing price in the regular stock market closes again below the termination price for a second consecutive day and the forward contract is subject to a "margin call", which is an additional deposit, which is needed to secure the final payment of the forward contract.
The alert will contain minimum details of the forward contract and a link will be provided, clicking on which will lead the Customer to the complete details of the deal on the open forward contract table in the Trading section, after putting in their Username and Password. The Customer will have the option to Pay the margin call or ignore the call.
Forward margin payment
This alert will be generated when a margin payment is debited from the investor's account.
If the stock closing price in the regular market closes below the termination price for the third consecutive day and the investor had decided to pay the 10%, the money will then only be debited from the investor's account.
If the stock closing price in the regular market on the third day is at or above the termination price, the margin call is rescinded and the investor may retain his forward contract without paying the margin call. The money blocked for the margin call will be made available again after the close of KSE regular market.
Cash Deposit/Withdrawal
Deposit Alert: This alert is sent as soon as the KMEFIC supervisor verifies an account deposit.
Withdrawal Alert: This alert is triggered when a supervisor authorizes a withdrawal entry into the system.
Stock Deposit/Withdrawal
Deposit Alert: This alert is sent as soon as the KMEFIC supervisor verifies an account deposit of stock. The KMEFIC back- office staff will manually enter the deposit information.
Withdrawal Alert: This alert is sent when a supervisor authorizes a withdrawal entry into the system for the withdrawal of stock. KMEFIC back-office staff would have made the entry.
Monthly Statement
This alert is generated every month-end. The Customer receives a hyperlink in the alert message to view last month's statement on the site. The Monthly Statement displays the appropriate segment of the account history table - beginning with the first date and ending at the last date of the month gone by.
