Change Profile
Once registered, the customers and members can change their profile and other preferences.

Change Logon Password
This feature is accessible to the Customers and Registered members. To change theLogon Password:

  • Enter your existing User ID and Password in displayed Login screen, in case you are not logged onto the site.
  • Once logged in, enter your old password and the new password that you would like to use. The new password should be 6-12 characters long, else the KMEFIC system would not accept it.
  • Reconfirm the new password by entering it in the verification box.
  • Click Submit button to submit the new password to the KMEFIC system and confirm the change. Else press Clear button to clear all the fields on screen.
  • In case the old password is incorrect or the new password and confirm password do not match, the KMEFIC system will return an error and the user will have to retype everything again. Else the KMEFIC system will display an acknowledgement and you can use the new password to login, in future.

Change Trading Pin
This feature is accessible to the Customers only. To change the trading PIN:

  • Enter your User ID and Password in displayed Login screen, in case you are not logged onto the site.
  • Once logged in, enter your old trading PIN and the new trading PIN that you would like to use. The new trading PIN should be 6-12 characters long, else the KMEFIC system would not accept it.
  • Reconfirm the new trading PIN by entering it in the verification box.
  • Click Submit button to submit the new trading PIN to the KMEFIC system and confirm the change. Else press Clear button to clear all the fields on screen.
  • In case the old trading PIN is incorrect or the new trading PIN and confirm new trading PIN do not match, the KMEFIC system will return an error and the customer will have to retype the information again. Else the KMEFIC system will display an acknowledgement and you can use the new trading PIN to trade, in future.
  • The trading PIN initially (the default value when he has opened his account) is the same as the password that he has used to log on to the site.

Change Contact Details
You (the Customers and the Registered members) can at any point of time changecontact details online through this option. To do so:

  • Enter your User ID and Password in displayed Login screen, in case you are not logged onto the site.
  • Once logged in, your existing contact details would be displayed.
  • Fill in your new contact details in the form provided.
  • Click Submit button to submit the new Contact Details to the KMEFIC system and confirm the change. Else press Clear button to clear all the fields on screen.
  • Once the form is submitted, your user profile would get updated and an acknowledgement would be posted to you.

Change Bank Details
The Customers (investors who use the site to conduct trade) are allowed to change the Bank Account Details that they had provided to KMEFIC at the time of opening the account or later on (in case they have changed the details later on). To change yourBank Account Details whenever you wish to do so:

  • Enter your User ID and Password in displayed Login screen, in case you are not logged onto the site.
  • Once logged in, your existing Bank account details would be displayed.
  • Fill in your new details in the form provided.
  • Click Print Preview to view the Change Bank Details application with the details filled. Else press Clear button to clear all the fields in the form.
  • Take a printout of the preview form, sign it and mail it to the KMEFIC office.
  • Alternatively, you can perform the Change Bank Details task completely offline. You can ask the KMEFIC staff to mail you the blank form. You can fill in the necessary details, sign it and mail it back to KMEFIC.
  • You can even send in a duly signed typed letter to KMEFIC detailing your request.

Change Mailing Address
The Customers (investors who use the site to conduct trade) are allowed to change the Bank Account Details that they had provided to KMEFIC at the time of opening the account or later on (in case they have changed the details later on). To change yourMailing Address whenever you wish to do so:

  • Enter your User ID and Password in displayed Login screen, in case you are not logged onto the site.
  • Once logged in, your existing Mailing Address details would be displayed.
  • Fill in your new details in the form provided.
  • Click Print Preview to view the Change Mailing Address application with the details filled. Else press Clear button to clear all the fields in the form.
  • Take a printout of the preview form, sign it and mail it to the KMEFIC office.
  • Alternatively, you can perform the Change Mailing Address task completely offline. You can ask the KMEFIC staff to mail you the blank form. You can fill in the necessary details, sign it and mail it back to KMEFIC.

Change E-Mail Address
To change your E-Mail Address:

  • Enter your User ID and Password in displayed Login screen, in case you are not logged onto the site.
  • Once logged in, enter the new email address and click submit.
  • The change in email address would be verified and a mail would be sent to the new e-mail address.
  • You need to respond to this e-mail by clicking on the URL embedded in the mail.Enter your user id and password in the screen appeared by clicking the link to complete this process.
  • If you do not receive or misplace /delete the e-mail, you would have to use the Change e-mail address link to re-enter your new e-mail address. A fresh e-mail would then be sent to you for verifying your e-mail address.

Change Mobile Number
The Customer or Registered member can change the Mobile number that he has provided during opening of the account as well as provide a Mobile number in case he has not inputted any. To change his Mobile number

  • Enter your User ID and Password in displayed Login screen, in case you are not logged onto the site.
  • Once logged in, click on My Preferences and then the ‘Change Mobile Number’ option. Your existing Mobile Number details would be displayed in case you have submitted the same during the account opening. In case the Mobile number was not provided during the account opening, then there will be no Mobile number displayed.
  • Fill in your new Mobile number details in the form provided.
  • Click Submit to submit the details.
  • Alwasat.com customer care will call you up to verify the Mobile number you have inputted and then only will the SMS service be activated.

Change Language Preference
The Customers and Registered members can change his language preference for the ‘Home page’ that will open up when he logs on to the site. The default language for the Home Page for the US Market and Kuwait Stock Exchange is the language in which the user has applied for the Trading Account or Registered Member.
